Some kind of Heron?

Took this blip at the Witbankdam today... looks and behave like a heron, but the long tail confuses me... never seen one with such a long tail?

On our way back from Witbank we heard on the news that the Witbank Casino was robbed by armed robbers. We left the shopping centre right next to the casino just a few minutes earlier.
