Written in the diary of a young girl before she moved with her family to the gold rush town of Bodi… it had a reputation as a godless and dangerous place.

We took a trip here today and follow our satnav ended up on the roughest 10 mile stretch of ‘road’ I’ve ever seen.. pretty ropey.. there is a longer route out but slightly better… oops
