A little reminder.

Pebble Beach . . .  .not too far from the San Andreas Fault.

Weather unexpectedly cool. The sea mist hasn’t really risen for two days giving a somewhat eerie effect . 
We are meeting friends over the coming days and Mr F will get to play golf at some well renown courses. He is v excited. . . .me, not so much.

We had an incident today with the hire car. The housing(?) behind the front bumper must have been loose and got snagged on a low parking marker ripping it half off making it unable to drive. We called Avis but they couldn’t find a replacement car ( on the phone for an hour , hate to think how much that will cost). It was left if we could manage to clear the housing off the car we could carry on driving it. We tried for about hour…no tools and nowhere near any stores or garages. Eventually a young couple came to our aid. They stepped in with the tools and eventually managed to free the housing. Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers.
