Sumptuous Sunday

Is it that as you get older you no longer need the same amount of sleep as a hibernating sloth, that could explain why I was up and out of bed at 08:15.

Hung all the washing out, apparently undoing all the buttons on the children's school shirts now means they will have to get up earlier on school days in order to get dressed!!

Out to ASDA for coffee with an ex Rowe's engineer, it would appear that over the last ten years they have got through so many I can now count myself as one of thirty plus.

Joshua built my new garden hammock which will be extensively road tested in the coming weeks whilst Clare and I shot down town for;
? Second pair of 'Trek' style trousers for work (and no they do not have strangely shaped ears or "go where no one else has gone before" but have loads of pockets and are lightweight)
? Land Rover monthly featuring California's 'Janet & John' go off roading.
? A new work bag

We then gathered ourselves and went off to 'The House of Tut' for some of Ben's truly lovely paella with a glass or two of Rioja followed by Carolyn's House of Tut off the shelf Eton Mess. A great meal with great company, made more enjoyable watching all six children having fun in the sun/pool and with the water pistols.

We are now home getting ready for the week ahead after an absolute cracker of a day!!
