Mayflies

A sign of the bad start to the year, weatherwise, is that the mayflies haven't appeared until June. Still, as usual, once they have decided to emerge they do turn up mob handed and huge swarms can be seen dancing above the trees and really anywhere along the riverside. These four were resting on the flood wall in front of the theatre.
