Thanks for all the worms

Spent the day pottering around in the garden, hubby was doing some digging and every so often he threw a worm for the blackbirds that sat very close by , waiting. Every time he threw one it was pounced on and taken off to a nest somewhere. While we were sitting having a cuppa, the blackbirds were helping themselves on the piece that had just been dug and this one flew onto the fence and paused for a while looking at us - I like to think he was thanking us for all the help feeding his youngsters :-))
