Different worlds

Sarah invited me to join her on a Heritage Open Day tour of Leeds called Creativity In Stone which was led by Leeds Civic Trust Director, Martin Hamilton. He handled this situation very well when this gentleman walked into the comedy scene I was photographing in the background while he was talking and asked to share his story.  We listened. He was sad. 

And we all moved on in our separate worlds which was also very sad.

The walk was fascinating though and it was interesting to pause, hear anecdotes and be shown aspects of Leeds that you just don't notice - including the many owls around the city!

We had a quick drink and crisps before catching our trains home. Different trains on the same platform a few minutes apart worked well, as did my new rocker shoes. No toe pain in a 90-minute city walk!
