Enterrement De Vie De Jeune Fille

It's what they call it in France (burial of life as a young woman!), aka the UK hen do, or as someone said to daughter#2 in Germany, oh it's that chicken thing that you do!

What has the horse got to do with it? Well it's at the location for this afternoon and evening's shenanigans, at a hotel and spa outside Cheltenham. The horse (maybe it's a jeune filly) is looking wistfully at Cheltenham racecourse in the distance.

Some of the participants are in the extra. Daughter#2 in the middle, daughter#1 between her and mrsfb. I'm doing taxi service this weekend - I have to pick them up after 10 pm this evening. Maybe I should take another photo then :-)

It's not often we get our two girls together without little boys running about. We had a nice meal last night in our local pub. The food and drink was very good, and the piped music was excellent. Lots of blues including people like Elmore James and Howlin' Wolf.
