What a

difference a day makes. . . .
I had a few hours to spare this afternoon so took myself up onto Exmoor. It was cloudy but dry when I left Barnstaple, but by the time I got to the top of Countisbury Hill the mist was down; headlights and fog spots were turned on! I pootled over the moor having to concentrate more on the road than seeing animals sadly but did find some of the Highland Cattle up near Cloutsham. Most of the herd were lying down, lazing in the grass!
I saw some sheep and there must have been a hunt on somewhere as there were so many 'followers' on the roads.
