I had a book to collect from Waterstones, and took the opportunity to wander down to Castlegate - formerly the markets area - where there was a skateboarding event taking place.
I got very absorbed in watching.  Photographically it was a tough proposition though, with a busy background and few options about clear vantage points. This and the extra are the best of the bunch.
Socially it was a venture into a different world too.
