Moffat on a dryer day
I have stayed in Moffat a couple of times for the Scottish Morris Minor Rally but it's the first time I have had a good look around the town. As a Canadian friend of mine said, its very quaint.
The hotel I have Blipped is just 20' 6" wide and had an entry in the 1988 Guinness Book of World Records as being the narrowest detached hotel in the world. The town also has the grave of John Loudon 'Tar' McAdam (road building fame).
Another attraction (by the coach load) is the Moffat Mill. As you can see you can buy any colour tie as long as its tartan...
Tomorrow we head north.
