Spotted this shield bug on a green wheelie bin this afternoon.  Haven't seen one for ages so glad I had my phone in my pocket to take a couple of shots.  Went indoors for a camera but by the time I got back it had gone.  Other misses today, heron in the paddock which flew off when I was spotted, also had two visits from a sparrow hawk which again few off when I was spotted through the window.  One more miss, a crow having a bath in a large puddle in paddock, again flew off when I was spotted, sigh!
