We arrived at our new home for the next week or so, the Lighthouse at Lizard Point, arriving just in time for a spectacular sunset. There’s no wireless and no mobile signal, so the the only contact with the outside world is either by very large flashing light or booming fog-horn. We’ve become accustomed to the fog-horn. Upon arrival our welcome pack included complimentary ear-plugs. We should have twigged, it’s loud. And necessary. And comfortingly quirky too.
