‘Can I put my luggage in your car?’ Said one of the MG owners this morning, as they were about to fasten luggage to the back of the vehicle - no room inside. She was looking at our two little cases taking up such little room in the back of our car.

The occupants of the MGs had been staying at the same Logis and we were all about to set off - us to go north and they to go south.

So, we are back again in Calais, have done a little supermarket shopping, have returned to Hotel Meurice, had a lovely meal and now Gordon is watching the Rugby.

We are catching the early ferry tomorrow morning and then heading home.
