Out and about …

… in Glasgow, for Doors Open

The day started off cold and drizzly. I had booked a walking trail in the centre of town this morning which unfortunately, and unusually, was not very enjoyable. Moving on, we headed back to the west end, had a lovely lunch in Mother India’s Cafe then a very interesting guided tour in Kelvingrove Art Gallery, entitled ‘Museums, Empire and difficult Heritage at Kelvingrove.
Around five hours of standing, listening and digesting historical information is quite tiring so we headed home to finish the day off with a visit from my younger daughter for dinner and the start of this year’s ‘Strictly’!
