Périgueux

Another beautiful day. 29C.
G drove us to the town of Périgueux. What a magnificent cathedral. It was Market day, but only for anything edible. Nice to see it busy, and by 11am many stalls had almost sold up.
We had a look round the cathedral and then wandered the streets of the old town.
At 12 o’clock we found a nice Italian restaurant where we had pizza and a delicious salad. Everywhere was very busy by this time.
The. another walk round and couldn’t believe it when we saw two friends from Wine Club walking towards us! Certainly a small world
They are over here for a month. Very envious!

Another lovely day, finished with wine and snacks on the terrace.
MrC and G now watching the rugby.
