Nîmes

Our last day of the holidays was in Nîmes, and coincided with the local Feria, so the town was quite busy. We couldn't visit the beautiful arena because there was a corrida there (needless to say that I was definitely not going to a corrida), and transport was an issue as well. We no longer had the wheelchair for Karen, so we were quite limited in what we could do. However, the centre of Nîmes is so small that we managed to explore, in turns, then spent quite a lot of time in cafés, chatting and watching people...
