Open Farm Sunday

There is a national scheme / initiative to get people to visit and understand farms, farming and where their food comes from. Farms around the country open up for one day, and give tours, allow you to get close to the animals, and in Oliver's case, more importantly the tractors and combine harvesters.

Newbottle Farm is not too far from us and they had opened their farm. Apparently they had about 400 visitors over the course of the day. They were great hosts.
