El galeón

Went to see the galleon this afternoon. This was the view as I left after having been up and down the very steep stairs. The ship was built I’m in 2009 as a replica of those that were plying the trade routes centuries ago! The crew nowadays are volunteers and they sail from January through to this time of year. The lad I spoke to said it was hard work but a great experience! I think they definitely have more than six crew on board this ship!
