Meeting Day Anniversary

53 years ago today we met on a Stockholm street corner; John on his motorcycle to find someone to share sunsets with, and me on the way to my first English lesson. We celebrate every year this amazing encounter,  so easily we could have missed each other. Thankful to God that we didn't.
We did a daytrip to the coast, Astoria in Oregon and Cape Disappointment State Park on Washington side. Perfect day for it; took our chairs to a little nook on the beach, away from the breeze and just enjoyed being together.
After an early dinner we drove back home.
