O I do like to be beside the seaside

I love it when some small thing triggers a great day.

This morning first thing Hannah turned our bedside radio on, to someone talking about going to the seaside. And next thing you know the decision has been made and we're off to formby to see the sea.

Hannah loved it. Shes seen the beach before a few times but I'm not sure she was really old enough to enjoy it. Today she threw herself whole-heartedly into it.
Sand castle built and smashed.
Paddled in the sea until a slightly bigger wave soaked us all.
Sand in our sandwiches...
we did it all!

and then everyone slept in the car all the way home.

Perfect.
