Mandala?...

... I might have mentioned in a previous blip that lots of plants in the garden seem to be having a second wind.
I'm blipping this one because it appeals to (what I laughingly call) the artist in me. I'd like to have a bash at recreating it in watercolour. (But, I must admit I'm overstretching myself in the painting department at present).
We'll see.

I spoke to one of the Elderlies yesterday.
We had a very weird conversation indeed.
Although we speak every day, dementia makes it increasingly challenging. (I'm not referring to myself here).
Before we spoke I had been dealing with some financial affairs (not mine).
Me: 'How are you then, and what have you been up to today?'
The Elderly One (who hasn't set foot outside for some years): 'I've just been to the Bank'.
Me (bracing for a fantasy chat): 'Oh have you? That's nice'.
The Elderly One: 'NO!! YOU have, on my behalf and I must thank you'.

We speak, often for long periods, every day and I must say there is more to dementia than might meet the eye.
I have often noticed that on occasions something I've been doing is mentioned, as if by some supernatural means. (Things like 'packing a case', 'making a shopping list' and even speaking to named people; once a year kind of people).
It happens too often to be mere coincidence.

I wonder whether it's common?
May be there's some research somewhere?
