Pier Happenings

A few folk about at the Leebitton Pier with boats being put into the water. With a system of pulleys to help the car was pulling the cradle into and out of the water to assist with the launchings.

As an extra a juvenile Knot on the Hoswick beach. Described as a "common migrant and scare winter visitor" in the book of Shetland birds I've never knowingly seen one at Hoswick before.
