Bursting

The other day I had a more thorough look in the greenhouse. Behind some trays and pots I found these expanded cucumbers. (Standard size on the right).

Fortunately they had not turned bitter. While I love cucumber sandwiches (with soft cream cheese and some mint leaves) they are too much to eat. So pickling underway.

Given that it was cool (14oC) grey and eventually wet, it was good to have things to do indoors. I even started on tidying the attic (again).
