After The Hurricane

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

It was WINDY last night! There was a weather warning! I brought all the plants that are in planters and we lived with them in the lounge. 

The cats thought this was great and went around sniffing everything, while the house creaked and the wind HOWLED outside.

What you are looking at here is not the effects of the wind, but of Caro tipping up all of our garden furniture to avoid the wind doing it for us. 

Not everyone was as forward-thinking as us. One headline read, "Trampoline Leaves Trail of Destruction in Paraparaumu".

I cannot emphasise enough that this was an actual news headline on a national news website. 

I do love New Zealand news.
