This morning we went up to Hartland. First port of call was Hartland point. The s energy up there is amazing.
Next down to Hartland Quay - always a favourite for us. The cliffs and rocks are just so wild and rugged. This is where I took this photo.
From there along to Hartland Abbey - a lovely Manor House that stands on the site of an old abbey - that they knocked down to build the house - as you do. There are beautiful walled gardens there which look great even in the rain. A trip round the house was swiftly followed by coffee and cake.
Then up to Biddeford for a walk along the estuary- and didn’t even have to wear a coat as the rain had finally stopped!
