2023 Friday — Good Dinner

God gave us a lovely evening, some nice moments near the bay to enjoy a delicious dinner at a restaurant we have not dined at recently, but will do so more often; our meal was delicious.

We often stop in at their outdoor cafe to enjoy the music and a snack. Tonight we enjoyed their indoor dining room.

This has been a lovely second week in September on the Central Coast. Years ago during September Mr. Fun & I would pack-up our young children after school and drive the 45-minutes from Corona, where we lived then, to Crescent Bay in Laguna. We were trying to stretch our summers; without realizing it then we made favorite memories.

The beach is fabulous during this season when almost no one is on the shore — the air is still warm and the sun glows; the sand is soft and in the distance there is the laughter of children.

In the tide pools of Cayucos, the hermit crabs play.
