A Gathering

My husband and I are not the kind of people who go on holiday and make lots of friends in a fortnight and then go on holiday the following year with these new friends. We are slow to make friends which was why it was big thing for us to invite them to a gathering to celebrate the the time we have spent in Linlithgow. We were joined by friends who travelled from far and near, from university and work, from school and family life. We had a great time and hope they all did too. There was food, drink, music and cake (which I have blipped) and much to my husband's delight very little dancing :-) and not too many tears

Some of these friends we may not see again for a while but they are all welcome to visit us anytime
