Russell-Colbath House

We decided to explore a bit on our way home. I had read about this house in the historical places in New Hampshire. Happily, we discovered it was on our road heading home! A quick stop to walk the grounds and the house. This is the ONLY remaining Homestead and cemetery along the Kancamagus highway.

I love history and this house was a time capsule to the 1800’s. The door a portal to another era.
