Yummy!

Crazy, windy day but pleased to say it eased and by evening, all has been calm this evening.  Wellington has had massive winds though - cancelled flights and power outages so I guess my pot-plant being blown off the deck (again!) was pretty minor.  

More frustration dealing with the insurance company.....I type this through gritted teeth whilst breathing deeply.

I decided to bake a pear for dessert this evening - very simple and utterly delicious.....just what I needed (with ice cream of course) to round the day out.
