1 plus 1 is a bonus

Conditions were rather wet underfoot after the heavy rain during the night but with the right footwear on I could even walk through the puddles.

I went into the Gazebo garden in Pollok to look for butterflies ….. it was really quite windy so I wasn’t too hopeful. I walked to the patch of Michaelmas Daisies and was surprised to see so many Red Admirals all in perfect condition with no torn or ragged wings.

I tried very hard to get a photo with two butterflies on the same flower head but that just wasn’t going to happen so I had to be content with two close enough to be in the one photo.
