Still Buzzing

JJ went off to golf this morning and I had a mooch around the wood.  It was beautifully sunny with a fair breeze, but very pleasant.  I spotted this little bee hanging around what was left of the knapweed and this was the best of a bad bunch of images.

Tidied up a few of the Cornish grave images and sent them on to a couple of distant cousins, as it's their 2 or 3 x great grandparent's grave too.

Heavy rain arrived just before 1 p.m. but soon cleared.  Another shower mid afternoon and now blue sky and scudding clouds.  Lots of silver birch seeds wafting around in the air along with leaves deciding where best to land to cause most annoyance.

Happy birthday dad.  He'd have been 110 today and his great niece is 10.
