Harrington shore
This was taken today looking towards Workington. The forecast said heavy rain, thunder and lightning with wild winds. It was windy, but nothing untoward and as you can see it is sunny. This coastline was very industrial and in places cliffs are composed of slag from the steelworks that once existed. The wave breaking in the middle distance gives some indication how windy it was.
Later the thunder and lightning arrived-one clap and flash before it rumbled over the Solway.
Harrington was as far as I got today. Maybe a little further tomorrow, we'll see.
