Glad to be Home

What a night! Thunder rumbling and then an electrical storm. I should have tried for a picture but I wanted to sleep.

We left Hampshire after breakfast and wishing George a happy birthday as today was his actual birthday. Despite a few rainstorms, our journey home was much quicker than Friday's trip and we were home at 1.30. After seeing all sorts of news about flooding along the coast at Dawlish, Teignmouth and Torquay. Being on a steep hill the water normally rushes past us but if there's an awful lot our driveway could fill up and flood the hallway. Fortunately it didn't but it looks as if there's been a fair bit of water there.

After a bite of lunch I went off to fetch Cato from his holiday home. He had to go to a different place this time because his usual place didn't have a vacancy. Once home, he dashed out to do his rounds but was soon back again and seems to be pleased to be home and demanding a lot of brushing.
