Eider Ducks

Went for a walk with my wife and 12-week-old daughter along the Ythan River and only saw 2 Eider ducklings.
There were lots of adult birds but apparently not as many as previous years but these were the only ducklings we saw I hope it is the case that others are still to hatch or make their way down to the water.
