At the bargain alley you can buy practically anything as long as it has once belonged to someone else, including, rather surprisingly, part-used tins of random paint.

This person has bought a bag of second-hand rain which was being stored appropriately beneath the hole in the leaky roof. You can see them here releasing it into the wild. What a kind and thoughtful person.

I was also a kind and thoughtful person and I bought some hand-made soaps from the very hands that made them, though not from this shop obvs, but from a pop-up stall in a one-off “vegan” market.
When I got my soaps home I found they'd included a little note which read
“When you buy from a small business an actual person does a little happy dance” Thank you!
That made me glow all over [ https://star-soapery.com/ ]

I call it a “vegan” market and not a vegan market because there was someone selling fruit liqueurs who “proved” their “vegan” credentials by showing which allergens were not in their product. By their reckoning anything not containing soya or nuts is vegan. Hmm.
