Seeing stones

Took an interesting wander today to see a slightly unusual henge monument called The Devil's Quoits, The original site is apparently something like four or five thousand years old, but fell apart somewhat over the years (exacerbated by a war time airport and a more contemporary landfill site). Anyway the whole thing was rebuilt over the last couple of years.

Fascinating place, even if the landfill makes it ... uh ... fragrant in the wrong way.
