Speckled Wood Butterfly

My partner managed a walk around the park in the afternoon. It is still sunny and warm. The butterflies. are enjoying this second summer (the first was in June, the rubbish weather in July, and just about passable in August).

This blip shows a speckled wood butterfly, which had just landed on a very yellow, autumnal, leaf.
