Owl Mural

Local public holiday starts with normal public holiday weather, rain. I go after morning coffee and I notice the owl mural looks rather nice framed by trees. Extra shows Allermuir Hill taken from the same spot. There's still a hint of purple heather on the hillside.

My partner is feeling a lot better, no painful spasms in her back. So we try an afternoon walk to Braidburn Valley Park. Quite a bit further this time. On the way back we sit in the sunshine and enjoy people watching. A nice way to end the afternoon.
