Chester Cathedral

I had to pop into Chester for something then took a detour via the Cathedral on the way back to the car. While the stained windows were the more obvious subjects, I couldn't let this one go. Surprised how the WB affected the overall shot: the red lit cross needed toning down quite a bit, giving the back drop a very surreal curtain effect. The Lensbaby only enhances the effect. Shot at a soft f2.8.

It's amazing what one can find on their doorstep. Must pay another visit some time.....
