Mediterranean Scotland

If yesterday was warm, today was even hotter. Again we took breakfast outside and then decided on a cycle. We often do a 10mile circuit that takes us down to the seaside. Today we extended it a bit to visit friends who we hadn't seen for a while. Cycling along the shore was a delight, then down to the harbour where our noses picked up the scent of fish and chips. So, we stopped for some tempura! Then on up the ballast bank where we bumped into other friends and down to Troon's south beach which was packed by midday. We took several shots of the crowds sitting or sunbathing - not many were being very energetic, though quite a few were testing the temperature of the water (still a bit chilly, we guess). But we chose this scene for today's blip for the synchronised sunbathing technique! The temperature reached at least 25C.
