Like summer…

here today, with hot sun, some heather still flowering and Martins still feeding young in their nests. I thought they were using holes in the sandstone rock strata but close ups reveal constructions built underneath the layers! Amazing! They were very active, perhaps knowing how late in the year it is, but the youngsters seemed fully fledged. Starlings and Pipits were around too. Lovely walking the cliffs here.
