Upper Garden

Commenting is even more delayed than usual, too many things going on at once. Thanks to everyone who commented, gave starts and hearts on my 4,500 blip. I will get round to replying to you in due course.
 
Today’s picture is of part of the upper garden, which the gardeners are keeping under control. The border at the top of the orchard will be got under control during the autumn and winter and then hopefully the whole lot will be kept under control all year round; that is the plan.
 
The temperature at noon today was nineteen degrees Celsius.
