Plitvice National park

Our lovely host provided us with a delicious breakfast and ingredients to make our own packed lunch and insisted we start early. Good advice. There were lots of people but it became easier to avoid them as we went on.
Beautiful landscapes and waterfalls.
I did a shorter 4km walk and Graham a +8km walk so our paths rarely crossed. The path material also changed from stone to wood to pebbles. Both trips included a boat ride and I finished with a bus and a 15minute walk.
The weather changed from bright blue skies and sunshine to a torrential thunderstorm where I sheltered in a bus station. Graham sheltered under a tree at the top of the Upper lakes.
