On the canal

It's been a very stormy day with rain and strong wind.  I joined a U3A photography group and our first trip out was at Ellesmere.  When I saw the weather I have to admit to hoping that it would be postponed but no such message arrived.

I got there and there were four of us out of about sixteen!  We pondered what to do when the rain stopped so we decided to walk down the wharf and see what happened.  The rain start didn't start again but the wind was very strong.

There were lots of boats on the canal so plenty of photo opportunities which we're going to show and discuss at the next indoor meeting.

It turned out to be a good afternoon and we were glad that we'd braved the weather.
