Autumn

This morning as husband went to leave he noticed a black bear in our veg garden. He was pretty stubborn to leave but he did manage to scare him off. I got together supplies to put an electric fence around our garden until we finish harvesting. First I mowed the clover that's popped up where I was watering the veg gardens to make it less inviting for him. Then set up the fences. I had an appointment with the healer I've been working with late morning. Then after lunch I helped husband go and track down some missing cattle that were reported on fb. We couldn't find them but did get some knowledge from the locals about the area. The plan was to find them and walk them home. Once husband was finished work he helped connect the fences around the garden to the mains energiser that was already here on our well house. All connected up and we are being vigilant about doing a bear check before letting dogs out.
