Day 3 Majorca

It’s been around 27 today which was still hot. The weather was good so we had a walk to the marina and port which was lovely, then back to the hotel. We had a sandwich lunch on the balcony. We intended going to the beach but changed our mind and caught the bus to Alcudia Old Town. As we got out the bus a few spots of rain appeared!! We stopped for an ice cream and even though the rain increased a little we decided to explore! It’s a lovely old town but our visit was cut short as the heavens opened!! We bought a cheap umbrella and walked a bit more but the paving became quite slippery so went for the bus…..long queue! We eventually arrive back at the hotel having dodged very large puddles and dripping awnings. It was lovely to be able to sit on our balcony and read as it was in the dry. There was meant to be a bbq tonight but the food had to be done in hotel restaurant, it was very good. It’s £14.25 each for 3 courses buffet style and masses of choice. A young girl was singing as the entertainment tonight and she was amazing! Another good day!
