Grape hyacinth

or Muscari.  These are past their best but worth a blip.  Taken through another plant to give the softness, but still able to focus on one head. 
We were in the garden early, and at 9.15am we had a really big earthquake 6.2 ..... and just north of Geraldine, 20 minutes drive from here.  Weirdly, because we were both in the garden we didn't feel it, my neighbour Sue texted to see if we were OK, she said it was long, very loud and frightening.
We recorded the highest temperature here in NZ today - 29 deg.  No wonder I was struggling as I gardened.  I called it a day around 3pm, just couldn't carry on.
