Summer is here

Well, we've been enjoying actually having a spring this year. We did have our requisite surprise snowstorms but we have enjoyed mild weather and unusually green scenery. Today cracked 90, and was warm late into the day. Whether we like it or not, those enjoyable mild days are not going to last long.

Did enjoy a nice ride on the new mountain bike with D. I have now ridden it enough that I hit cable stretch issues at the bottom of the nice big climb out. I got to do that climb without using my two smallest gears. Considering that the new bike is already geared a bit higher than my old bike, this was a tall order for the leg muscles. My legs were completely torn off by the top. Luckily the scenery was great at the top, and there was a pitcher waiting at the bottom at a new brewery in town. (In case you were wondering, the Coors brewery in the picture is neither new, nor the brewery I'm talking about - I'm talking about GOOD beer)
