Back Blip

It is said that Queen of the South is the only football team mentioned in the Bible, although it's not certain that the gospel-writers had ever heard of Dumfries's finest. 

Either way, the visitors to the Falkirk Stadium on Saturday nearly got away with a draw for their efforts - the match ended 1-0 to the Navy Blues, with the winning goal for Falkirk being scored only two minutes before the end of normal time. It was an entertaining game, made all the better (for me at least) by that late goal which keeps the Bairns to of the league for now.
